Research Associate (IDEaS-2022) – Simon Fraser University

The Craig lab in the Molecular Biology and Biochemistry Department (MBB) at Simon Fraser University (SFU) seek a full-time Research Associate to investigate the antimicrobial properties of various compounds in solution and embedded in textiles and 3D-printed materials. The successful candidate will have an MSc or PhD in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or a related field and microbiology experience. Proficiency in fluorescence microscopy will be an asset. Strong organizational and communication skills are required. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Expected start date is May 1st but is negotiable; the appointment is for 12 to 16 months.
