Postdoctoral position in Cell Biology – Université de Montréal

A postdoctoral position in cell biology is available in the group of Vincent Archambault at the Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer of Université de Montréal.

Our team is dedicated to understanding the basic molecular mechanisms of cell division and how their perturbations can contribute to cancer. We aim to make high-impact contributions to this field.

Our group is looking to recruit a postdoc in one of the following projects:

  • Mechanisms of nuclear envelope reformation after mitosis in Drosophila
  • Cellular and innate immune responses to post-mitotic nuclear reassembly defects in human cells
  • Molecular dissection of mitotic kinase functions using chemogenomics in human cells

A salary is available.

Helpful technical skills: confocal fluorescence microscopy, biochemistry, molecular biology, Drosophila genetics, cell culture, CRISPR

Qualities wanted: interest, talent and motivation
