A two-year fellowship is available to work on the characterization of RNA G4 across the transcriptomes of various cell types of the human nervous system. The objectives are to analyse the structure of these G4s, to determine their contribution on the post-transcriptional regulation of the health and disease cells, and to modulate their folding in cells. The research group of Pr. Perreault is at the Department of Biochemistry and Functional Genomics of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
